Seating and benches
Custom boat seats
We reupholster cockpit benches, helm seats, lockers and saloon seating, working from the original piece rather than a standard pattern. Collected from anywhere in Europe and returned fitted to your boat's own geometry.

The method
We pattern on your seat, not from a catalogue
The difference between a seat that fits and one that bags at the corners is the pattern. We collect the original piece, strip it in the workshop and take the pattern straight off it. That keeps the real geometry of the seat: its radii, its rebates and the fixing points the builder left in place.
Stripping it also shows what you cannot see from outside. We check the state of the board, whether the foam has stopped recovering, and whether moisture is trapped inside. It is common for a seat that only looked worn to have a tired core underneath, and we tell you before we upholster, because new covers over a collapsed base is money wasted.
Everything goes back on the original hardware, so the seat returns to its place with no adaptation and no new holes.
Foam is replaced only when it needs to be. If it still recovers, we keep it. If it has gone or holds water, we rebuild it at 25 or 28 kg/m³ depending on how the seat is used.
What we cover
From the cockpit to the saloon
Cockpit seating
The most exposed area on the boat: direct sun, salt and standing water. Open-cell foam that drains, and reinforced stitching along the edges.
Helm and pilot seats
The most technical piece, with pedestals, folding backrests and footrests. The mechanisms have to keep working afterwards.
Lockers and benches
The ones that open. The hinge and the catch have to be respected so the lid still seats properly once it is upholstered.
Sunpads
Large flat surfaces where water collects. Built in modules, with drainage designed in and fabrics that do not mark under weight.
Saloon seating
A different problem: indoors, comfort and finish matter more than sun resistance, so softer foams and finer fabrics are on the table.
FAQ
Questions about boat seats
Can I just send the covers instead of the whole seat?
We need the complete piece. The pattern is taken from the real seat with its foam and its board, because a cover on its own has already deformed in use and would reproduce that fault in the new one.
How long does a full cockpit take?
Between 10 and 15 working days in the workshop once the pieces arrive. A single seat is usually 7 to 10. Shipping time to and from your country is stated separately in the quote.
Do you replace the foam as well as the fabric?
It depends on how it arrives. We check the foam when we strip the seat and tell you whether it is worth keeping. If it still recovers we reuse it; if it has collapsed or holds moisture we rebuild it at 25 or 28 kg/m³.
How do I get the seats to you from outside Spain?
We organise it. Collection runs across Europe and the pieces come back to you by the same route once they are finished. Your boat stays on its mooring throughout.
